Edgar Allan Poe

He lived in Boston. He was almost 40 years old when he died. When Poe was found he was drunk and unconscious. Poe died poor and few people knew him. Poe's deaf was never known. Poe was a brilliant thinker, but he suffered from a brain lesion. He took a drug called opium which would spark his imagination and weaken him.

Poe moved in with his parents. His mother died of tuberculosis. He then moved to Richmond Virginia with uncle. 5 years later they went to England, there Poe attended school. In 1820 they returned to Richmond Virginia. Poe fell in love with his neighbor Elmira Regatee who was 15 years old. In the mean time Poe attended college. With the money that his uncle gave him he couldn't even afford to buy his books. Poe then began to gamble to raise money for his studies. While attending college, Poe slept on the street. Elmira thought that Por didn't like her anymore she married someone else, Poe felt heartbroken once again.

Poe married his cousin Virginia who was 13 years old and Poe was 24 years old. Poe started to write and edited his writing. Poe made enemies by writing cruel reviews about other writers
